Indians of the Rain Forest

The Hiwi, Hoti and Panar Indians have lived in a rain forest region on the Orinoco River in southern Venezuela for thounsands of years. The National Museum's new exhibition "Indians of the Rain Forest" follows the Indians in the forest, on the rivers and in the communal houses houses. Hammocks, poison arrows and large, colorful photos give the visitor the experience of being there in the world of the rain forest. The exhibition is part of the celebration of the Climate Change Conference COP 15.
